Drap

Bowl made in White Carrara marble realized through water-jet cutting.
The ripples on the surface created by the cut on the edges, usually seen as a production flaw, are here enhanced and transformed into a new aesthetic connotation, reminding of drapes of fabrics. The circular shape of the rings allows the optimization of marble's volumes: every single block of the material generates 5 to 6 vases, reducing excess of waste. Each bowl is a unique item, impossible to be identically reproduced.
