Alessandra Baldereschi (1975) is a Milan based designer. After an artistic training, she obtained a master degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy in Milan, subsequently leaving for Japan where she obtained a residency-studio where she could develop ceramic table designs with companies in the Gifu district.
Upon returning to Italy, she began to collaborate with internationally renowned companies such as Swatch Bijoux, Fabbian Illuminazione, Moss NY, Dilmos gallery, De Castelli, Seletti, Mogg, Ichendorf and other brands, creating projects for lighting, furnishings and accessories. Currently her studio is focused on creating designs for several companies, national and international.
Her work was exhibited, among others, at the Saint Etienne Biennale, Inside Design Amsterdam, the Seoul Design Festival and the Moss gallery in New York. Many of Alessandra's projects have been selected for international exhibitions such as "Milan Made in Design" in Beijing and Shanghai, for the GLASS exhibition at the DesignHuis museum in Eindhoven curated by Li Edelkoort and for the Triennale Design Museum.
In 2017, Alessandra was appointed Ambassador of Italian Design by the Triennale Milano, on the occasion of the Design Day.
